John Motors, London’s high-energy funk organ trio, have spent the last 18 months gigging around the UK, building a unique sound and identity as they go. This period has culminated in the release of their first LP album ‘Horsepower’.

Following on from their rootsy, jazz infused debut EP ‘Fuel the Groove’, this album shows a marked evolution in the band’s sound. The unmistakable influence of 70’s hard rock is prominent, along with more carefully developed composition and production.

This collection of eleven originals also includes guest appearances from a horn section, and the band’s first vocal composition, ‘Fly Away’ which was released as a single in July. This new eclectic collection of powerful funk grooves is out now, with physical release dates as well as other smaller releases scheduled for the next year.
